Can't decide? Ask your question, spin the wheel and let chance decide. Every answer has exactly equal odds.

Spins so far: Yes 0 · No 0
How to use the yes or no wheel
Think of a question with a yes or no answer.
Press SPIN in the middle of the wheel.
Read the answer where the pointer stops at the top.
When a random answer helps
A wheel is useful when both options are fine and you're stuck: which restaurant tonight, whether to go out, who goes first. A useful trick: notice how you feel when the wheel lands. If you're disappointed by the answer, you've learned what you actually wanted.
Is it fair?
The wheel has the same number of slices for each answer, and the winning slice is chosen with the Web Crypto API, the same source of randomness browsers use for security. The spinning animation simply shows the result; it can't be influenced by how or when you press the button.
Frequently asked questions
Is the yes or no wheel really random?
Yes. The answer is picked with your browser's cryptographic random number generator before the wheel starts turning, and every answer has exactly the same number of slices, so Yes and No each have a 50% chance (33.3% each with Maybe).
Can I add Maybe?
Yes. Tick "Add Maybe" and the wheel gets equal Yes, No and Maybe slices.
Does the wheel remember previous spins?
It keeps a count of each answer while the page is open. Nothing is stored or sent anywhere; reloading the page resets it.
Is it the same as flipping a coin?
With only Yes and No it has the same 50/50 odds as a fair coin flip, with a wheel to watch instead.
